(Boston Carpal Tunnel Questionnaire)
Focus:
The Boston Carpal Tunnel Questionnaire (BCTQ) evaluates symptoms and functional status in patients with carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS).

Also called the Levine-Katz Questionnaire, it is the most widely used PROM for CTS assessment.
Description:
The BCTQ has two scales: the Symptom Severity Scale (11 items) and the Functional Status Scale (8 items). Patients rate symptom intensity and the difficulty of performing daily tasks. It is sensitive to treatment outcomes, including surgical release or conservative management.
